Renewal code is used to extend (renew) existing license code.

A user cannot register a new software copy with the renewal code but he can extend his expired license code by the renewal code.
Renewal code works only once. The renewal code is decided by system as 'used' code and no longer workable when license code is updated by the code.

There are different renewal code types

• Online renewal codes
  Such codes work with online and semi-online protection schemes
• Offline renewal codes
  Such codes work with offline protection scheme

Renewal code benefits:

• Renewal code is much cheaper than the license code.
• User do not need to purchase new license code (he updates his current license code)
• Renewal code can be deleted after license renew process
